Exploring Conservation with Broadreach
If you’re passionate about conservation and looking for an adventure that combines hands-on research with travel, find out which Broadreach trip might be right for you! In this session, Bethany, Chelsey, and Savannah introduce Broadreach’s conservation programs, where students gain real-world experience in marine or wildlife conservation while exploring some of the most incredible ecosystems on the planet.
During the session, we break down the details of three incredible programs:
- Costa Rica Sea Turtle & Marine Conservation: A 14-day land-based program focused on sea turtle research and tropical ecology.
- Yucatan Ocean Conservation: An 18-day, scuba-diving-intensive program for Open Water-certified students passionate about coral restoration, marine science, and conservation diving.
- Amazon + Galápagos Conservation: A 20-day adventure combining the Amazon, cloud forest, and the Galápagos to study diverse ecosystems and conservation challenges.
We also discuss what makes each program unique, how to choose the right one for you, and what students can expect in terms of activities, accommodations, and academic credit. At the end of the session, we answer some of the most common questions from families about travel logistics, student life, and program structure.
