“This trip was absolutely amazing. I became so close with people I would have never met otherwise. The dives were amazing and we went to so many beautiful sites. It was absolutely incredible. I finished my Rescue Diver and it was so much fun. I never thought I could cook for 12 people, sail a boat or give CPR, but now I can!” Cammi, high school alumna

Itinerary

Day 1-2

Welcome aboard to your catamaran

Hop aboard, settle into the yacht and meet your fellow crewmates and trip leaders. Our catamaran is specially equipped and provides an ideal platform for diving and adventure. Our maiden voyage to Grand Case gives us the chance to learn about sailing and the language of the sea…sheet in, head up, ready about, lee ho. Let’s go diving! Maybe it’s been a while since the last time you splashed in, but after a safety and skills review and a good orientation dive, the knack for scuba will come back to you in no time.

Day 3-5

Raise the main and set the sail

Adapting quickly to life aboard, your crew shares all of the responsibilities from scouting dive conditions to keeping the yacht “ship shape.” Our next sail brings us to the island of Saba. It’s the perfect location for digging into our Advanced diving and Emergency First Responder training!

Day 6-7

Dive into advanced scuba

We depart Saba with our newly acquired skills and we set sail for Colombier, St. Barts – a diver’s dream and the perfect location to start our Rescue Diver training. Dive sites are abundant and loaded with tons of schooling fish, lobster hiding in the coral, sleek barracuda and a wealth of turtles. Head ashore to find fantastic beaches and the town of Gustavia, just as imagined…cool shops, a scenic harbor, mopeds racing about and classic French bakeries. Don’t miss the ice cream shop and its delicious homemade sorbet.

Day 8-9

The Rugged Island awaits

A quick sail takes us to the tranquil uninhabited island of Ile Fourche. Here we put our new rescue skills to the test to complete our certification. We will explore the untouched reef, teeming with brightly colored reef fish, nurse sharks and turtles munching on sea grass as we work towards our Underwater Naturalist specialty. A hike at sunset to the highest peak gives us spectacular views over the neighboring islands.

Day 10-12

One last stop in paradise

Our final destination brings us full circle back to the island where our adventure began, St. Martin. We aren’t ready to head home just yet so we stop off at Tintamarre, an uninhabited natural reserve with one of the most beautiful beaches you’ve ever seen. We’ll have some fun wakeboarding and skiing before we prepare to say goodbye. As we enjoy one final sunset, we’ll reflect on the fun we’ve had and all the skills we’ve learned in such a short amount of time.
